Registration Information

Delegates can choose between a residential and non-residential rate for the conference as follows:

Conference Registration Fees - Residential

All prices shown are inclusive of VAT @ 17.5%

Residential fee - standard delegate: £520
Residential fee - student delegate*: £410

The residential fee includes:

  • En-suite bed and breakfast accommodation at St Catherine’s College (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
  • Dinner at St Catherine's College (Tuesday, Wednesday)
  • Conference dinner at St Edmunds Hall (Thursday)
  • Lunch (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
  • Mid session refreshments
  • Two drinks receptions
  • Delegate materials

Conference Registration Fees – Non-residential

Non residential fee - standard delegates: £235
Non residential fee - student delegates*: £120

The non residential fee includes:

  • Lunch (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
  • Mid session refreshments
  • Two drinks receptions
  • Delegate materials

Conference Dinner

An optional conference dinner will take place on Thursday 3 April. The cost of this is in addition to the conference registration fee for non-residential delegates and tickets may be purchased at a cost of £30 per ticket.

*The student rate applies to those registered for a higher degree. Student registration forms should be accompanied by a signed letter from your head of department attesting to student status. 

Payment

Registration fees are payable in advance of the conference. In order to expedite the registration process, please complete the registration form with your credit card details. Confirmation of your credit card payment along with registration confirmation documents will be sent to you by (air)mail. If you do not receive confirmation of your registration 21 days prior to the event, please contact the conference secretariat.

Alternative payment methods

Cheques should be made payable to Elsevier and should be sent with your completed registration form. In order to pay by bank transfer, you will first require an invoice. An invoice will be sent to you by airmail upon receipt of a signed registration form completed with your contact details and registration details. The reverse side of the invoice provides Elsevier bank account details for transfer purposes. Please do not transfer fees until you have received your invoice. It is essential that you include your invoice number when instructing your bank. Please forward a copy of the bank transfer documentation to the conference secretariat.

Cancellations

Substitutions may be made at any time but please advise the Conference Secretariat of a change of name. If you find it necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify the Conference Secretariat immediately. Provided written notice is received by 20 February 2008, a full refund will be given less a 10% administration charge. Provided written notice is received by 5 March 2008, a 50% refund will be given. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after 5 March 2008, or for no-shows at the conference, the full fee (100% cancellation charges) will be payable.

In the unlikely event that Elsevier shall deem it necessary to cancel the conference, all pre-paid registration fees will be reimbursed. Elsevier shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates.

Changes

Details are correct at time of going to print. Elsevier reserves the right to change any session in the final programme.
